Maybe it's because I'm not a glamour girl -- right now I just want my products to be as natural as possible -- so I'm not into putting new stuff on my face for the fun of it. But if you love colour, and spending 2-3 hours pampering and making yourself gourgeous with top of the line brand name products, this is the place for you.
Staff are nice, but not overly nice. The girl in one specific section doesn't know what the girl in the other section knows. Maybe it's because there's just too many products to know about?
However, one thing is for sure -- they have a fabulous lash bar!
This is the greatest store ever for any cosmetic needs. They have samples and such a huge variety of items. Very high-end, very chic.
I adore this store... I can spend a good chunk of time in here. They have a vast array of makeup products but equally impressive is how knowledgable their staff is when you have a question. If you are looking for various quality makeup product lines all under one roof, this is the place to go!
I was lucky enough to discover Sephora a few years back on a business trip to Toronto. Every time I visit the city this store is one of my 'must go to' places. There is sooooo much to look at and try it's unbelievable. There's products there that I can't find at any other store in Ontario and the selection is great. I end up spending an arm an a leg every single time but I can't help myself. Trust me...if you're going to visit this store...especially if it's your first time....come with a credit card or a pocket full of cash! I only hope that one opens up in Ottawa soon. I can't believe we don't have one here. It may sound cheesey...but sometimes I buy Jessica Simpson Dessert products and it's the only place I can find them...also it's the only place I can find Philopsophy products..(I highly recommend the 3 in 1 body wash/shampoo/bubble bath in egg nog and pumpkin pie!)
Sephora is THE make-up playground for women everywhere! I love that we can have access to higher end brands of make-up (than drugstores) that are often in department stores, and yet not be bothered by pushy sales women or perfume ladies. It is expensive but worth it, if you are paying more for quality products. :)
The service is great, the salespeople really know what they're talking about. You can try all of the products which I love. Sometimes when it comes to creams, face scrubs or anything you can't realy try in the store, you can get a sample to take home and try. I love it, I spend way too much time and money there. And there are so many locations...so far I like Yorkdale the best, but I haven't been to any other ones besides Yorkdale and Eaton Center.
I'm always out scouting the newest stuff and I love coming in to Sephora. You can try pretty much everything and the staff are incredibly helpful. Last week I went in to the Toronto Eaton Centre location to find out about Bare Minerals. Though they don't have it available for sale in Canada yet, the manager made me a little sample and a few other samples of products to try. She was incredibly helpful and had pointers for everything. I've had very good service whenever I come here.
The new location that opened at Square One in Mississauga is amazing! I use to travel downtowm Toronto to Sephora because it was so worth it. Now I get the same amazing products and service right at home!
Sephora is the shopping mecca of makeup...I spend waaaay too much money everytime I go there...but it is so worth it.
