I prefer to shop online

I don’t usually shop Sephora and store I find that it’s too overwhelming and there’s too much going on. However I do find online you can just type in what exactly you’re looking for or your concern and read reviews I supposed to just getting one review from one of the store employees

I have mixed feelings about Sephora. My daughter loves it although I find everything to be overpriced. Although the quality is higher end than drug store items, I don't necessarily see the need to purchase from Sephora. This store in the Eaton Centre is big and has many top brands. I find the stores to be too busy, too hot and the line ups too long. However, the service is always good and one of the staff gave me my free birthday sample early so overall a good experience.

I went there to find some powder highlighter. The sales associate showed me one but it was so expensive! I asked her if she had anything less expensive and she said no. I decided to look around myself and I found one that's sephora brand!
Maybe she didn't know about the product, but she should have offered to check. It was like I wasn't worth the effort because I wanted to spend less money.

Even though Sephora has a lot of high brand makeup products and a lot of it is great quality, the prices can be quite insane. I have purchased an inexpensive mascara from another store, then payed $25 for a mascara at Sephora. Not worth the extra $15. Whenever I walk into the store, the workers often ask too many questions and sometimes make me feel pressured to buy.

Sephoras is a great place to go if you love makeup and beauty products. It's almost like a wonderland for avid beauty seekers. They have a lot of different brands that you don't see at the regular department stores as well as the ones that you do find there. All Sephora's are not created equal, some stores are better than others. I would recommend that you go during the week because they are usually swamped on the weekends.

All I've heard is Sephora this and Sephora that but only just this year did Ottawa finally get one of these stores.

Honestly - there is A LOT of stuff I wouldn't dream of spending money on (example: $31 dollars for a LIP GLOSS?! I think not!). Some of the prices are absolutely ridiculous for the amount you are getting.

There are some good buys and it is nice to have everything in one place, but unless you are willing to part with your hard earned money, you may want to look elsewhere first.
