one of my favorite store. Nice reward program amd always excellent customer service.
I like the fact that when you wait in line theirs more stuff cheaper samples and I tend to pick it up as I go.
My daughter loves to go to Sephora to her that means it is a make up day. We browse the selections of customer available testers and we look for the brightest glittery color available. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I do like getting my free samples on my birthday there.
I've had many different experiences at Sephora, but on average their pretty good.
Staff - their always friendly and happy to help, unfortunately their not always free with so many customers in the store it's hard to get someones undivided attention when you really need help colour matching or finding a product.
Products - there's SO many it can be overwheling and very time consuming so I prefer to do my research online at home about what I want to invest in and try to get in there and just get that product.
There's nothing wrong with Sephora, but honestly I feel very overwhelmed when in there, I find it crowded and often the staff can't seem to keep up with people messing up the samplers. In the end, unless I have come for something specifically I find myself leaving empty handed. I do find things on their website but I wish the shipping rates were lower.
I love Sephora. If you're like I once was and don't have a clue about make-up the staff is so friendly, helpful and knowledgable, they can help you find product that will work for you AND show you how to use them, with no pressure, they don't work on commission. They are a bit pricey, but everything I've ever been recommended I've loved. Defiantly get the Sephora card. It doesn't cost anything and it earns you free make-up and who doesn't like free make-up.
I've always gone into Sephora, but I rarely bought anything as I didn't wear too much make up and what I did wear (mascara and lipstick mostly) I could find easily at Shoppers Drug Mart or WalMart. Then I had my makeup done there for an event with an amazing advisor and I was hooked.
They have very functional makeup, it works really nice, all the makeup I have gotten from there is extremely high quality, but the price almost makes it not worth it. Which is why I love when they have stuff on sale because I cannot pay full price for most of the things they sell, I cannot justify it, however their makeup is very nice.
Legitimately, Sephora is where my wallet goes to die. I have (luckily?) only gotten to go to a Sephora a handful of times, and every time I do, I might as well just sign over a paycheque to the nearest salesperson and just get it over with. I'm not complaining though. Sephora is like an adult woman's Disneyland (Although I still want to go to Disneyland). I walk in and can't seem to close my mouth or blink or focus on rational thought. I have also never spent less than an hour in a Sephora. I wish there was a location closer to me, but then again, I would probably have to start panhandling outside the store to fund my habit eventually.
Sephora is the shiniest, happiest, prettiest, crackiest, wonderfullest place on earth. They have everything you ever wanted cosmetic and beauty supply wise, and also all the stuff you didn't know you wanted UNTIL RIGHT NOW.
I want to go to Sephora.
I love Sephora. My best friends love Sephora. My boyfriend loves the men section in Sephora. Let's all go shopping at Sephora shall we? The variety of products is jaw dropping. You can get Urban Decay to Dior all in one stop! I find that the associates are very kind, and always compliment my outfits however, I find the older women that work there (40 ) will hound you and follow you around the store. You either feel like a criminal (which I'm not, VIB Rouge baby!) or annoyed because I mean... It's Sephora! You want to take your time and swatch and spray and enjoy yourself.
