Two friends and i decided we would go for a late dinner at about 7pm, and chose Shoeless Joe's as our destination. Once we arrived it looked like a well layed out sports bar, nice decor, nice seating. We decided to sit on the bar section because the dining room was empty and there were tv's on the bar side. The waitress had very poor customer service and did not welcome us or recommend anything. I told her before placing my order that one of my friends and i are vegetarian, therefore if anything we order has meat that we don't know about, tell us. She still made no recommendations, we ended up with a nacho platter to share and drinks. It took a long while to get our food, atleast the interior of the restaurant was lovely, though the atmosphere and feeling of the place could have been warmer and more welcoming. Once we got our nacho's we were shocked to see lots of lettuce on it! More lettuce than cheese. Then after we ate some of this platter i found a big chunk of raw meat in our food. I was very upset at the lack of quality, not only was there meat on a dish we ordered vegetarian, but RAW meat!! When i told the waitress she shrugged it off like it didnt matter, she didnt compensate, didnt offer me a different dish and still charged me for this sub-par meal. Since my friends still wanted to eat it i took a look at the dessert menu and ordered my favourite dessert, the big cookie with ice cream, but was informed that they didnt have the ingredients to make it! Guess its no surprise that ive never gone back and dont recommend it to anyone.
