Shoutout shoppers drug mart in Carleton place 315 mcneely avenue for withholding my medication that I HAVE to take to even have a chance at sleep. Claiming my doctor changed the dose when I’ve never even met him so why would he do that? I just was switched to him because my nurse practitioner moved practices. When I was in last month the pharmacist said you’re early you should still have enough for a few more days and I explained I’ve had to up the dose because it was no longer working. The pharmacist said she would contact my doctor to have the prescription changed, I assumed everything was fine until I went to call in my prescription and was told she did not change anything. The pharmacist I spoke to tonight was so short and rude, she did not care at all and essentially brushed me off and said “contact your doctor”. When I asked what I was to do without my medication she said “I’m not sure” and then transferred me without even letting me finish speaking. I also literally work there so that’s how your gonna treat your staff? Not only did you withhold my ROE for a month, I had to call 3 separate people over 5 times and Miron the owner said he wouldn’t give it to me because he “wasn’t required to” I suggest you read up on the ministry of labour site because you are required to submit it 3 days after I went off. You made my life harder for no reason, EI contacted you on multiple occasions and you dodged their calls just so I couldn’t get help. It’s disgusting behaviour and you should be ashamed of your actions. I was off work for a suicide attempt which you knew so thank you for making it clear you could care less about your employees. you guys do so much illegal stuff, you break the rules you set and then get mad at your staff when they tell the customer. A girl purchased over $200 worth of this specific gift card which it states beside the cash that we cannot sell over $200 worth. the customer wanted a refund, you refused that’s fine but then got mad at me when the customer called back and asked me our policy about gift cards I obviously had no idea what was going on and didn’t think we would hide our policies? I was spoken to minutes later because now you had to refund the customer as you broke the very rules you set. They pick and choose, they have rules but let certain people break them and others not. For example the bathroom, we are told no customers can use it but then you allow certain people depending on if you know them or not to use it. Policies are all over the place and not enforced, they don’t give you the proper amount of breaks. I have scoliosis and was told by the manager Ashley “my back hurts all the time I just work through it” after doing inventory being up and down all day and crying from the pain. I honestly recommend never working for this place. When asked if a customer could get a refund the manager asked the cashier supervisor “do we know them?” what relevance does that have? Treat your staff and customers better.
