It's the best place in Ottawa I've been to for waxing. Each and every time they've been quick, courteous, thorough, knowledgeable about products and services. The difference between this spa and any of the others I've been to within Ottawa is like night and day. For the record, I've had horrible experiences at the beauty academies in Ottawa, Third Avenue Spa, The Spa on Robertson Rd, and a couple spas in Orleans that are closed now. The price is about average for Ottawa... so essentially an arm and a leg but at least everything's done properly.

I know the price isn't as competitive as some other esthetic places, but the service and cleanliness of the place makes up for it! Plus if you're a student, you can get a student discount which is great!

I haven't met a staff member at Sophia's that wasn't nice. They're all genuine, and all great at what they do. I've had my eyebrows waxed by 4 different staff members, and have never had a complaint.

The soothing music being played, and the lighting make you relaxed, and the pleasant smiles on the staff make you want to come back again, and again!
