Our first and only experience at the new South Steet Burger in Ajax was terrible. Our first contact was with the cashier and she acted like we were a big inconvenience to her. We both ordered a poutine each, onion rings and a burger. The burger was half raw, the batter slithered off the onions and fell apart when you bit into them and the New York Fries (which are usually my favourite) were very dry and over done!

It was a total waste of money, too expensive, and will never return there again. The only recomendations we have is that you never go there!

South St Burger company serves up a great tasting burger for a reasonable price. The variety of toppings is extensive. The establishment was clean and the service was friendly. Would definitely go back and would recommend it. Though it is a fast food type restaurant, it is very good quality and the burgers do not taste greasy. The New York Fries that come with the burger value meals are tasty too!

As far as burger places go South Street Burger is number one on my list. They have regular burgers, veggie burgers or grilled chicken on a bun. You can choose from tons of toppings, whole wheat or white bun. The food doesn't taste greasy like many other burger places. They use pure beef with no additives or hormones in the beef from local farms. They have hand dipped onion rings made in the restaurant and New York Fries.
