I have been going to Spring Rolls for a long time - from the time there was just one location near Yonge and Bloor. I think as more restaurants have opened up the quality has gone down. Recently I went to the Yonge Dundas location and the dish I ordered (fish) was lukewarm. I let my waitress know and she took it back and the kitchen simply nuked it. I have to say I wasn't very impressed. I had a better experience most recently at the Yonge and Eglinton location. The food and service were much better. They had just introduced sushi to the menu so my sister and law gave it a try. It was ok...but not great. Probably won't be ordering that again.
I would still recommend Spring Rolls for the diversity of the menu. It's a great place to go with a group of people as it's pretty much guaranteed someone will find something they can enjoy.
The first time I tried Spring Rolls I thought it was too overpriced, but the food turned out okay! I think we're paying more for the atmosphere than for the food! The Phad Thai is quite good, but nothing REALLY that much different than other Thai restaurants, but I still like it for how classy you feel just being there.
I love Spring Rolls! I think they do a pretty good job of keeping as authentic as possible but still appealing to Westerners.
They price is excellent and the food is always delicious. Plus the atmosphere is great and it's always clean!
I love going here every time I'm in the city. My best friend lives there and when I visit this is either waiting for me at her house or we make the trip to get it and every time it's perfect, I just love it
I work 6 days a week, which means on my one day off there is a good chance I will be to tired to cook, even boil water!! so I do Spring Rolls! There food is fresh, filling and tasty! the spicing and pricing are just right for me!
I do my ordering over the net, I find if I have made a mistake, or want to add something the customer service staff are for the most part polite. The food Always arrives hot, which is a plus!
I've just moved here and where I"m from there wasn't any Spring Roll restaurants so I was very intrigued after I saw a slew of them here in the city. My boyfriend and I had to try it and I was very impressed. I love it! they need to move to Vancouver!
It's a good place to dine out and the atmosphere is great - a nice to have a lovely birthday bash. However, despite the variety of menu items and uniqueness of the items, my favourite at this restaurant is their signature dish - the Pad Thai. However, in regards to the other items on the menu, I'm not that big of a fan. There's just not enough for me to come back for more.
This restaurant was ok when it first opened but now that it has outlets all over the city the service for take-out/delivery isn't as good as it used to. There is a good selection. Pad Thai is always popular when we order at work. Rice dishes come with a ton of rice and not so much of a main. The A11 - Chicken Satay with Mango Salad is always a favourite. Not the best but decent menu and decent delivery service.
