My wife and I went to the Star restaurant Assiniboine Conservatory today and I must admit it was a really nice experience. The shrimp pasta special was excellent. There where a few ingredients which made the meal an outstanding delight and I honestly can't identify them but rest assured it was really worth the trip. The Greek salad was also very well prepared with fresh veggies and a very nice dressing. Be prepared; this is now an upscale establishment and the price is on the borderline of over expensive given the portion sizes, which I thought was rather small for the price.
Will I go back? A good question. Yes - but not often given the issues with small portions and high pricing.
