We came here for dinner last year and haven't forgotten about it. It was a recommendation from one of the local wineries. When we pulled up, we had our doubts. It's a plain looking restaurant in what is essentially a strip mall parking lot. The sign outside says 'Rest', which may lead you to believe that is the name of the restaurant. It is not.

Don't judge it from the outside, because what you will find inside is unbelievable food with local wine pairings, a dark and cozy atmosphere, and tables filled with locals and their sommelier friends. It is a casual setting, but I'd argue it's one of the best restaurants in the area.

One local sommelier (I believe he was from Stratus) was sitting up at the bar and had us sampling his favourite whites while we waited for our table to be ready. He didn't even work for the restaurant. That's how nice people are here.

I highly recommend you skip the tourist attractions along the main drag and come and try this. You won't be disappointed.
