I bought a voucher for this place from Living Social, so I wasn't really expecting much for what I was paying -- places tend to put less effort in when clients don't pay full price. However, there were several problems.
- the woman I checked in with (plus the woman on the phone when I made the appt) knew I had a voucher, but the stylist did not, and when we talked about what would "look good", she encouraged me to get something that was NOT covered by what I'd paid for. So I ended up paying twice as much as I'd planned because of the "extras" that I didn't know what was covered.
- when I booked the appointment, I asked if three hours would be enough for foils. She assured me it would. But today, the woman kept leaving me to deal with other clients, and it took over four hours. I know it takes a bit to let the dye set, but there's a difference between working while the dye sets and leaving me with a head of half-cut hair while she rinses out a perm. Couldn't someone else rinse out the perm?
I'm new to the salon game so I don't know what to expect, but I don't think I'll be going back at all.
