My boyfriend and I decided to go and try out the local Taco Del Mar after hearing a lot of good things about it from various people. When we walked in it was quite empty so we didn't have to wait in a line up which was good but made us wonder how good the food here actually was. We both ordered a burrito meal that comes with rice and beans which we both thought was kind of pricey for a fast food joint. While we were standing there watching the lady behind the counter put our meals together we noticed that the food inside the metal warming containers looked like it had been sitting there for quite awhile. Not very fresh looking at all but we continued on because we were famished and thought it might taste better than it looked. We sat down and started to eat our burrito meals and quickly came to the conclusion that it tasted exactly how it looked. Over cooked beans and rice on the side and bland meat, beans, and rice in the burrito as well. Neither of us ended up finishing our meal. Not recommended
