I went to a meetup group meeting at Taisho Japanese Restaurant on the weekend and I have to say that I was very impressed with this venue. The food was yummy, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for getting together with a group of friends and chatting over some sushi. Taisho Japanese Restaurant in Burnaby is located in Metrotown mall in Burnaby. We went to see Slumdog millionaire in the afternoon and after that we took the escalator down from the cinema and were right in front of Taisho Japanese Restaurant. This is a great venue for after a movie when you want to grab a bite to eat and discuss what you have just watched. Although we finished our food and continued to chat, I never felt pressured to leave the restaurant as they have plenty of business but plenty of tables too. I recommend this restaurant. Check it out!
