I recently moved to North Carolina from Winnipeg, which surprisingly has more of a European character than Greensboro. I had a hard time finding a great grocery store that carries decent cheeses, breads, etc. The Fresh Market is a higher-end European inspired market store. From the selection of coffees, cheeses and chocolates to hard-to-find ethnic seasonings and continental bakery, this store is your best bet for special-occasion eating (or everyday too). The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is cool. Check out the website for some great recipes!
