I received a flyer for The Friendly Thai on my door and decided to give their delivery a try. I called and despite my bad connection, had my order taken patiently by a friendly person. I ordered the "Dinner For 2" which came with Chicken Pad Thai, Red Curry Chicken, 2 Spring rolls, and Steamed rice for $25.99. Delivery was free and although quoted 45 minutes wait time, It was at my door in 30 minutes (I live about 4 km away). The delivery man was super nice and friendly. They allowed me to pay by credit card and there wasn't a fee attached to using the machine. I could smell how wonderful the food was before I opened the bag. I first tried the Red Curry Chicken. It was "slap-yo-momma" good... no joke! Some of the best I have ever eaten and super fresh, too! Next I tried the Spring roll, it was crispy, fresh and delicious. You can tell they change out their oil throughout the day, because the oil was clean tasting. Next I tried some of the Pad Thai (my daughter claimed dibs), and although not the typical orangy-pink color of most other Thai places, the flavors were spot-on. It wasn't overtly sweet either like a lot of other places. It was a perfect blend of flavors. I love this place. I am so glad they left that flyer or I would never have found them.
