We recently visited the Keg Mansion. It has been a while since the last time, although we have been to other Keg restaurants lately. The service was really great and the food was excellent. This is definitely the place to go to for a great and tasty steak!

This review is for the Keg Mansion. This is my favourite place to have a great steak dinner. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is consistently good. The food is delicious and my steak is perfect 95% of the time. If food is ever sent back (for any reason), I find a manager comes to your table to follow-up on the error.

I am not a drama queen or a snob, but I do like to eat my steak the way I've ordered it. I have bad karma at Keg - I think 1/3 times I have actually received the steak the way I ordered it. I don't even have an incredibly picky range: I check their chart for what they describe each level of cooking. What arrives is not what I ask for. Are they this inconsistent? I don't like to send food back to the kitchen to have it recooked - it changes the flavour and ruins the meal. I have spoken to the server and they were very gracious about trying to fix it In fact they totally agreed that the cooking was off. They sent me free dessert - and that is to be applauded for the fact that the chain is trying to save the customer's experience.

Overall, meh. Its just okay. I am not that likely to go back since its really rolling the dice.

You can not go wrong going to the Keg for dinner or lunch - not all serve lunch. The steaks are always cooked to perfection and the side veggies are still crisp and full of flavour with out need for butter or sauces. The Keg must have a great training program for it's servers. They all know the menu and can answer questions right away, they are friendly and not bothersome - true serving profressionals. Going to the Keg is pure pleasure for me - I highly recommend the Prime Rib and garlic smashed potatoes.

I love their french onion soup! Their New York Strip steak accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and mushrooms is awesome. It is my #1 spot to go to dinner for sure!

The food is fantastic! I always order the Keg Classic Dinners which include delicious warm bread to start, a starter salad and a full steak dinner with a fully loaded baked potato and delicious mixed vegetables. The price is very good considering the amount of food that you get. I always need to ask for a doggy bag because i can never fully finish the entire meal. I would go to The Keg every night of the week if i could!

I've only been to The Keg Mansion, and will continue to go there every summer that I visit Toronto. I always order the Filet Mingon; it is fabulous!! tender and juicy. Service is amazing... the only place a give a ridiculous tip lol. It's beautiful and relaxing, the staff is so nice and friendly. I highly reccomend going to The Keg Mansion!

I'm a bit torn about this one, specifically the Keg Mansion. I really enjoyed my dining experience there because the atmosphere was great - nice decor, spacious rooms. I especially loved the individual dining rooms, some with a fireplace, and each with less than 10 tables, making the whole meal a lot more intimate. The service was good and the place is just so relaxed. It's great to go for a date or to catch up with friends. The price is reasonable. But, the food is just not that good. The sauces were mediocre and the steak was a bit tough. Still, I think I'd go again because of the reasonable price and the atmosphere. It's a good alternative for when you crave to go out for a nice dinner but don't want to dish out the cash.

I have to agree I really like the Keg when I just feel like having steak and potatoes without paying an arm and a leg for a really expensive steak! The service is always good and I love love love their garlic mashed potatoes. I also like the Keg Mansion location although I don't like that they will not let you make reservations for dinner. I tried to reserve a table for a group of 4 once and they told me they don't do that on weekends in the summer...I guess it is because they know no matter what they will have a packed house! Anyway the service is good, the food is good and if ever you want steak but don't feel like paying a lot of money for a really good expensive one, this place is a good bet!

The Keg is a lovely place to have your steak dinner. Service is fantastic - and the meals are just delicious. Every meal comes with a freshly baked bread loaf and whipped butter. Steaks are always made perfect. Of all the Keg restaurants, The Keg Mansion is probably my most favourite place to visit.
