Tim Hortons is a donut and sandwich shop and a Canadian institution. Even when our troops were in Afghanistan, they had a Timmies on the base. That just made it seem like home somehow. The food is homemade and always plentiful. The coffee is second to none, with a guarantee that a fresh pot is put on every 20 minutes. Also, I'm always amazed at how much you get for the price. Definitely a place to frequent.
I really miss Timmies I moved and this summer I will really be missing Ice caps.I love them with vanilla added the perfect way to cool down in the summer. Its always busy but the workers are fast and really friendly. The sweet treats are also really good always a large variety and who could deny the Tim Bits.
Timmies is the real MVP for any student's life. It's always been there for me when I needed that final push through an assignment/study session. Always full with fresh baked donuts of high quality and other munchies like soups and sandwiches that hit the spot. Not to mention the very large variety of beverages one can consume. The drinks here are classic, and the environment of every Tims is warm and welcoming.
How can one say no to Tim Hortons?! Walking into a Tim Hortons, you get the instant coffee aroma. Great prices and the food and drinks are delicious. My favourites are the french vanilla, hot chocolate, apple fritters, chocolate dip, honey crullers.
I love their coffee and donuts and Timbits. They also have good sandwichs and chili.
I used to love Tim Hortons muffins and donuts. Now I get the tea only and skip the rest. The food standard has gone down and so has the cleanliness and service.
I sometimes see people describing Tim Horton's as a "Canadian Starbucks" to foreigners, which I don't agree with (Canada HAS Starbucks' and even if they didn't I think Second Cup is a lot closer to fitting that description). As an American currently living in Canada who was only introduced to Tim Horton's about four years ago I can't think of anything to compare it to. I love it. Their coffee is cheap and palatable (I say this as somebody who is not a coffee connoisseur, so I apologize if you feel differently) and their prices are about as good as you will find outside of making the drinks yourself. In addition to coffee you have a nice selection of food and snacks to choose from. If there were a rating for "good" that's what I would give their food. "Mediocre" just doesn't quite portray it correctly, in my opinion, and I wouldn't call it "Very Good" either. One of my favorite things to get are Timbits, which are doughnut holes that come in different flavors (my favorite is "birthday cake" which is a plain doughnut with sprinkles mixed into it, covered in a glaze).
If you're looking for something healthier than doughnuts, bagels, and muffins, they have a tasty fruit and greek yogurt parfait, oatmeal, and a variety of soups.
Overall, I would say Tim Horton's is a great place to get a quick drink and an affordable meal.
(A few drinks I recommend trying at Tim's that aren't coffee are the hot apple cider, french vanilla, and iced capp)
Tim Horton's coffee isn't the best coffee one can get, but I do find myself craving for their coffee once in a while. I only like it when its super fresh because once it gets cold the coffee is no longer drinkable as it becomes bitter.
Their original Roast is much better than their Dark Roast and it goes down a lot smoother too.
Overall, if you're not overly picky about coffee and don't like super strong tasting coffee... then Tim Hortons is definitely a good choice for you!
Their Timbits and donuts are good too!
I love their double chocolate timbits and the boston cream donut! YUMMEH!! ^_^
not the best coffee place around but when its practically at every other corner its convenient
