Needs improvement
I really enjoy buying stuff from here but I am finding that the quality and service is really lacking. Their staff is all right but I find it difficult when products are not available first thing in the morning. I have been going to one location on Wanless and hurOntario in Brampton. They are always out of products from hot chocolate to timbits . I am now not going to this location because I know they will not have the product I am looking for. It’s sad that I have to do that. Hopefully they get better.
I visit Timmies regularly. I'm addicted to their ice caps! My favourite treat is a cheese croissant heated with butter, mmmmm! I used to enjoy their donuts and timbits, but lately they just haven't been treating the same. They also seem to discontinue/not have a lot of my favourite things. Like the blueberry bagel, strawberry cream cheese, and the spicy Thai chicken soup, oh my goodness that was devine! I will continue to go to Timmies for their ice caps, iced green teas, and French vanillas!
The coffee is brewed at just the right strength, the doughnuts are amazing, and their other foods are actually appetizing. There's really not much else to say about it! I wish the stores were warmer and more appealing, but because of the in and out nature of its business that's not that bad of a problem - especially when you get away from the city. I love how you can order your coffee how you want (whoever coined "double double" is a genius), their donuts are yummy and for a decent price, and their service is really quick and friendly. I wish it were easier to redeem gift cards and points and the like, but that's not that big of a problem it just makes it a bit annoying to deal with paying when you don't have cash. I don't drink coffee anymore, but their other beverages are also great (their hot chocolate is great - did you know you could have it with your coffee, too?) and really the donuts are all that you need to know about (honey cruller is my favourite with the double chocolate one next; timbits are also amazing). For a quick service coffee place, this is the best bang for your buck.
I have always loved Tim Hortons. It's been a life saver on long road trips because you can pretty much find one at every road side stop. Whenever my boyfriend is feeling a little sleepy on a long drive, we will stop for an iced-coffee and chocolate chip muffin. They make great muffins!
A few years ago, Tims made a change to their coffee which turned me away. Although the price of their coffee is ideal and I love the roll up the rim to win game, the tast is no longer smooth; it is harsh and bitter. I don't take much surgar or cream and I shouldn't have to take more to alter the taste. Good coffee doesn't need
Much alteration !
I sometimes see people describing Tim Horton's as a "Canadian Starbucks" to foreigners, which I don't agree with (Canada HAS Starbucks' and even if they didn't I think Second Cup is a lot closer to fitting that description). As an American currently living in Canada who was only introduced to Tim Horton's about four years ago I can't think of anything to compare it to. I love it. Their coffee is cheap and palatable (I say this as somebody who is not a coffee connoisseur, so I apologize if you feel differently) and their prices are about as good as you will find outside of making the drinks yourself. In addition to coffee you have a nice selection of food and snacks to choose from. If there were a rating for "good" that's what I would give their food. "Mediocre" just doesn't quite portray it correctly, in my opinion, and I wouldn't call it "Very Good" either. One of my favorite things to get are Timbits, which are doughnut holes that come in different flavors (my favorite is "birthday cake" which is a plain doughnut with sprinkles mixed into it, covered in a glaze).
If you're looking for something healthier than doughnuts, bagels, and muffins, they have a tasty fruit and greek yogurt parfait, oatmeal, and a variety of soups.
Overall, I would say Tim Horton's is a great place to get a quick drink and an affordable meal.
(A few drinks I recommend trying at Tim's that aren't coffee are the hot apple cider, french vanilla, and iced capp)
Tim Horton's coffee isn't the best coffee one can get, but I do find myself craving for their coffee once in a while. I only like it when its super fresh because once it gets cold the coffee is no longer drinkable as it becomes bitter.
Their original Roast is much better than their Dark Roast and it goes down a lot smoother too.
Overall, if you're not overly picky about coffee and don't like super strong tasting coffee... then Tim Hortons is definitely a good choice for you!
Their Timbits and donuts are good too!
I love their double chocolate timbits and the boston cream donut! YUMMEH!! ^_^
not the best coffee place around but when its practically at every other corner its convenient
Love the sweets from Timmy's!! Tim bits are everyone's favourite. Very affordable prices although service is usually pretty slow.
There are three Tim Hortons located near my house and all of them have different pricing. Love the peach drink and favourite donut is a cruller.
