My husband and I were looking for a romantic place to eat during a weekend getaway in Toronto and thought Toula Ristorante and Bar looked good. We were so wrong! I think the only things I enjoyed about this restaurant were the elevator ride (nice views) and the great view of Toronto's Harbourfront. Right away we were turned off by the rude service. We thought that maybe it was just the one person who showed us to our table but our server was rude as well. We felt uncomfortable during our whole meal and it felt like our server was annoyed whenever he came by us to fill water,etc. The food was definitely nothing special-the menu made it sound a lot better than what it was! Portions were super small. I had the lobster and risotto and my husband had salmon. My favourite part of the meal was the homemade gelato but other than that I was starving after our meal and if we didn't waste so much many at this restaurant I probably would have gone to another restaurant right after! I would NOT recommend this restaurant- there are so many little gems all over Toronto and this is not one of them!!
