I went to this salon to get eyelash extensions, and had a horrible experience. After she arrived at the salon 25 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to begin, the woman applying my eyelashes spent the duration of my appointment applying my lashes with one hand and talking on a cordless phone with her other hand. She seemed entirely distracted.

Once my lashes were done, they were applied sloppily and were jagged across my eyelid. It was incredibly unprofessional. Also, glue stuck my upper and lower lashes together and she tried to separate them by pulling at them with tweezers!

A few of the eyelashes fell out that very same day, just hours after application, and since I was going on vacation the next morning I spent the evening removing the remainder of my eyelashes because the poor application made my eyes very uncomfortable.

I recommend spending the extra money and going to a more reputable salon for eyelash extensions. Lesson learned.

I went to Tracy nails (Dec 22) to get shellac manicure and regular pedicure. The nail technician took her time and did a good job, however, one day later my manicure chip (Dec 23), and 2 days later my whole thumb peeled off (Dec 24).

I went back (Dec 24) and they said they would fix the damaged nails but they made me wait 1.5 hrs from start to finish (including waiting time) to fix 2 nails and touch up the rest (they ask me to leave and for a bit and come back, and even when I returned they still made me wait).

On Dec 29, three OTHER nails completely peeled off (2 nails are shown in the pics). On the other nails u could see clear air bubble forming underneath. At this point I was on a trip out of the country. When I called in and informed them that yet again my nail peeled they told me to come in. I had to explain that I couldn't come in until a week later since I wasn't in Toronto. They were extremely rude and made it seem like I was making things up. I asked them for an e-mail to send them the pics I am posting here. They gave me an e-mail address, but never responded to my e-mail.

Shellac is suppose to last 2 weeks with out chipping. My manicure completely peeled off a few days later, so go figure. I eventually fixed the nails myself using regular nail polish since I didn't want to go back and be treated like an annoyance. What a waste of 54 dollars!

Friday's are busy days in nail salons and this past Friday was no exception. My sister -in-law and I thought we'd both pop into Tracy Nails and Spa located on 2464 Weston Road (around Dixon and Royal York) after we saw the sign on their window indicating that a manicure and pedicure was $29.00 We showed up at about 5:00 and they were busy, but happy to fit us in and made sure that we got to sit together.

We got our toes done first and we sat in the most comfortable massage chairs I've ever been in! After our feet were done, we were both seated together to get our nails done. I've never had such a nice job done on both my feet and hands. The girls working were kind, funny and made sure we both enjoyed our experience.

The prices are AMAZING. I paid $32 in total for a manicure and a pedicure. If I had chosen just to do the manicure, it only would have been $10! To get your eyebrows done, it only cost $5! These prices are a steal in my opinion, especially if you're use to paying Toronto prices for nail and spa services.

Be sure to bring either cash or have debit, because they don't accept credit card. You should also be sure to visit this nail spa, because you'll be pleasantly surprised and feel like you got every bang for your buck!
