The instructors from this studio are not great, but they are good enough for beginners. Reasonable amount of classes, you can choose one that fits your schedule.
However what turns me off is one guy(he's the only guy there that I've seen) from the front desk is very rude. I've overheard him giving this girl a hard time in front of everyone on how she should've signed her name before class not after. I mean that girl should've probably done that, but it's not like she trying to cheat and not put her name there....he ruined the experience......

I found the beginner class to be pretty easy- so I suggest a more advanced class to anyone who has had more than 10-20 classes. The instructor was very helpful and friendly but my experience was tainted by the dirty showers and awful man at the front desk.

I accidentally left my necklace in the yoga room and returned the next day to claim it. He proceeded to complain about how many customers leave belongings behind. He pulled out my necklace from the lost and found box and questioned if it was really mine. Then he asked me "Do you know how this situation can be avoided?" and began to lecture me on how I shouldn't leave my belongings there again.

He then began telling my boyfriend about how he chased down and threatened a child for stealing his very fancy bike. I'm not making this up.

But yes, I realize that this situation could have been avoided if I never went to Tula Yoga. I will never return despite the good instructors. Rude front desk staff ruined whatever zen I achieved through yoga.

I went to a free hot yoga class here awhile ago.

The receptionists were very nice to me. When I came it the receptionist was a female and when I left it was a male. Both were polite, gave advice and asked my opinions on the classes.

I went to a hot power flow class which was a bit over my level but since it was free I went for it anyway. Unlike some other hot yoga classes there was no 2 mins break in the middle. I did not like the instructor. Especially compared to the instructors I've had at The Yoga Sanctuary (where I regularly go) this instructor did not seem very competent. She was knowledgeable about the poses and did fix my posture once. She probably knew there were many beginners and new people because this was free class and it was advertised for all levels but she didn't explain the poses at all and just expected everyone to follow. I am probably a novice in yoga and had trouble following her because she wasn't very clear.

The prices are $12-$18/class depending if you buy a punch card or not. I would definitely not go for $18/class, that's pretty ridiculous in my opinion.

Overall, I probably wouldn't go again. I would want to check out a more beginner class with a different instructor but wouldn't want to pay $18/class to do so. And I wouldn't commit myself to going to 10 classes if I didn't like it. The beginner special $10 for the first class and a free second class is a good way to test the waters to see if it's for you.
