Loved the services at University Eye Clinic and impressed with the frames collection. I was on a business trip to Toronto and accidently broke my glasses while boarding a cab. It was my working glasses and I don’t want to strain my eyes too much without them. I was in love with that frame and it really compliments my style. I wanted a similar one, but never thought I will get the same design here in Toronto. University Eye Clinic has a wide range of frames and I actually got confused about the final pick. I would recommend all to check-out the collection here.

Dr Facchin is wonderful, I wish I could continue seeing him without having to go through the front desk staff. unfortunately my last experience at this place was so dreadful that I am having to leave Dr Facchin and find a new optometrist. Even after I voiced my complaint, the receptionist did not apologize or do anything to renew my confidence in this institution.
I find some of front desk people borderline rude and I truly get the feeling that they do not care about you as a client. This has been the overall feeling I have gotten from these people since I started coming here about three years ago. Normally I wouldn't return to a place that gave me this treatment, but I still wanted to see Dr Facchin.
I will not be retuning to the University Eye Clinic, and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Really great place for eye exams. Was able to book appointment online which is very convenient. I had extra time that day and they accomodated me and saw me earlier even though it was very busy. Very comprehensive exam. Polite staff. Can access the location from Queens Park subway and you don't have to go outside which is good in bad weather. They don't push you to buy glasses there but the optician Brian is really nice and they have a good selection of frames. If they have your lens in stock they offer 1 hour service at no extra cost. They give you free contact lenses as a trial. Overall great place. Highly recommended. A

ive been wearing contacts since the dawn of time and well long story short i became alergic to a new brand i was trying. they got so sensitive to everything i had to wear sunglasses all the time ... yes, even at night lol needless to say things got pretty nasty nast and i decided to go to a walk in. i was assured it was nothing and was sent on my merry way. i got a second opinion (another walk in) and was given drops to help with the sensitivity. afew weeks later and with symptoms getting worse my mum heard about the university eye clinic so i went in and met Dr. Spilkin. he basically saved my eyesight. turned out i had a crap load of scratches on my cornea and left another day or two i would have gone blind PARTAY ON! big up to spilkin and not going blind
