Land somewhere else, 'cause William has left the building!

My friend and I visited William's Landing in Liberty Village, Toronto. We decided to sit at the bar to have dinner/drinks.

We didn't find the female bar staff member who helped us to be at all knowledgeable in the art of making cocktails. After serving us our entrees, she ignored us for the remainder of our stay, except when we decided to flag her down for our bill. She was very smiley and friendly though, with the men who sat at the bar adjacent to us. Guess she thought we wouldn't notice the discrimination or her immaturity and lack of professionalism!

Needless to say, we weren't happy with the service received and will go out of our way (should we decide to return) to avoid being "served" by her again.

We told the manager on our way out that the bartenders' "attitude" is never acceptable, especially in the service industry.
