My picture does not do justice for this store. It is in the historical byward market area and is chalk full of delightful things for your home. They have some really cool chandeliers and other hanging lights, pillows, candles, picture frames, dishes... you name it. I pop in here every time I visit Ottawa.

We were here on boxing day and picked up a beautiful chandelier for 20% off. If you need a housewarming gift or some inspiration for your own place, this is a great spot.

They definately have cool trendy stuff for the house. Prices are decent too. However, there lack of customer service does not make me want to go back there. The last occasion I was there, I stood at the til for 5 minutes while 2 workers stood and had a conversation about their friends infront of me. Not even a glance or a greeting to see if I wanted to pay or had a question. Finally I got fed up and asked them if I could pay for my items..and they weren'y even able to use the cash register and had to go get somebody else to do it.

Poor customer service = thumbs down!

I have to agree with Artist, I really like this store. It has neat little finds in it. I have bought friends many neat little housewarming gifts from this store. If ever you are in Ottawa or in Montreal (they have a location there as well) this is a great place to shop!

I found my little sister a nice fondue set here. I love all the stylish home accessories they have! They also have specials for new brides if you join the bride registry! They have appliances, furniture.. tons of cute stuff, and the prices are not bad either. If you're in Ottawa I recommend you check it out!

Zone is yet another fun home-related store in Ottawa (also located in Quebec). You can funk-a-fie your home with the latest in kitchen accessories, bathroom decor, or just get a few cool picture frames. There are lots of neat little ideas here for every home. They sell more accessories (kitchen gadgets and lighting) than they do actual furniture (tables and chairs). Like most kitchen and home-related stores though, most things cost a lot more than you'd find at your local department store.
